ABOUT

Pasadena Vizslas are home bred and home raised, surrounded by loads of love and attention and plenty of kids. We strive to produce healthy dogs with excellent temperaments and conformation.

Where We Started

We purchased our first Vizsla in 1991 from Pat Nichols of Panderre Kennels. Maverick was a real ambassador for the breed. He had the most wonderful temperament and was a very gentle and regal boy. After earning his Show Championship, Maverick and Lynn delved into obedience trialing, where they enjoyed the teamwork and incredible bond that goes with it. Maverick earned his CDX in Canada and his CD in Bermuda. They also enjoyed field training whenever possible. It was through all of these activities where Lynn met so many other Vizsla owners and breeders and thus became very involved with the Vizsla Society of Ontario including several years as the editor of the Vizsla Voice.

In 1994 Georgie joined the ranks. Her pretty elegance and beautiful movement was rewarded in the show ring, and her natural hunting abilities in the field. She loved the show ring and her wins earned her the honour of #1 Vizsla in Canada in 1996. Georgie – CH Csillag’s Lady Georgian FDJ – became the foundation bitch of Pasadena Vizslas in 1996.

Where We Are Now

In 2006 Lynn imported a very special dog from Hubertus Vizslas in Australia. In 2009 Zuri came into our lives thanks to Ferngold Vizslas.

Ozzie has passed away a couple years ago and Zuri is doing great but long past her breeding years. So we are no longer breeding. But hey, drop by here occasionally, and we just might might have a surprise.
